FIRST READING: A Reading from the Book of Exodus (Exodus 34:4-6, 8-9)
So Moses chiseled out two stone tablets like the first ones and went up Mount Sinai early in the morning, as the Lord had commanded him; and he carried the two stone tablets in his hands. Then the Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the Lord. And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,
Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshiped. “Lord,” he said, “if I have found favor in your eyes, then let the Lord go with us. Although this is a stiff-necked people, forgive our wickedness and our sin, and take us as your inheritance.”

RESPONSORIAL PSALM (Daniel 3:52-55)
52"Blessed are you, O Lord, the God of our fathers, praiseworthy and exalted above all forever; And blessed is your holy and glorious name, praiseworthy and exalted above all for all ages.53Blessed are you in the temple of your holy glory, praiseworthy and glorious above all forever.54Blessed are you on the throne of your kingdom, praiseworthy and exalted above all forever.55Blessed are you who look into the depths from your throne upon the cherubim, praiseworthy and exalted above all forever.

SECOND READING: A Reading from the Pastoral Letter to the Corinthians (2 Corinthians 13:11-13)

Final Greetings

11 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
12 Greet one another with a holy kiss. 13 All God’s people here send their greetings.

GOSPEL: A Reading from the Holy Gospel According to John (John 3:16-18)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
